All types of flight: from school flights to distance flights, from tandem flights to cross-country flights.
The take-off from Planfait is rather easy. The take-off slope almost naturally falls away under the pilot’s run, which offers a safe take-off area suitable for beginners.
But beware.
The ease of access, the daily traffic and the geographical configuration of the site can deceive less experienced paragliders.
In summer, the lake breeze is strong. The take-off is located on a cliff and offers a natural right-angle break or triggers a thermal just outside the landing area. Pilots flying at low speed can be surprised during their take-off phase. In these conditions, the site is no longer recommended for beginners.
Add a south or northeast wind and the site becomes potentially dangerous.
